3 honey based hair masks, perfect for a healthy hair

Honey hair mask (for hair hydration)

A hair that lacks moisture degrades very easily, and its appearance is not a pleasant one. If you notice split ends, then it’s time to prepare some masks to hydrate and to give shine to your hair. One effective mask is made from a teaspoon of honey, 2 egg yolks, 2 tablespoons of olive oil or coconut oil.

Mix all ingredients and let them act on your moistened hair for about 20 minutes, then rinse and wash well. Eggs are a good source of protein and lecithin, vitamins and minerals, which help repair damaged hair. Honey is very beneficial for scalp health and olive oil is rich in vitamins A and E that help moisturize the hair. If you want to stimulate hair growth, add a few drops of rosemary oil or castor oil.

Honey hair mask (for dry and damaged hair)

If your hair is dry and damaged, then the best mask is that with honey, olive oil and avocado. How is it prepared? Add in a bowl 5-6 tablespoons of olive oil, a teaspoon of honey and half an avocado. If you do not have avocado, a banana is also good. If you don’t want crushed pieces of avocado and banana tangled in your hair, put them in the blender before preparing the mask. Olive oil and avocados are known for their moisturizing properties.
Mix all ingredients until it becomes a paste and apply on the hair. Massage until the mask is distributed evenly over your hair. Leave the mask to act for half an hour then wash your hair.

Honey hair mask (for oily hair)

Lemon is a basic ingredient in oily hair masks, because it prevents sebum secretion. For this mask you need 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, an egg yolk and 2-3 teaspoons of honey. Mix all ingredients until it becomes a paste and let it act on hair for 20-30 minutes, then rinse with warm water and shampoo.
